The Western Tidewater Free Clinic (WTFC) is a non-profit, community based organization that provides free medical and dental care to individuals who meet the eligibility
requirements. We serve individuals between the ages of 19 and 64 who have no medical insurance and have income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Patients must be residents of the cities of Franklin and Suffolk and the counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton. First we determine that potential patients meet the eligibility requirements and then an appointment is made with our medical staff.
Donations and Volunteers enable WTFC to serve those who need help the most. Whatever your talents, time requirements or financial situation, you can make a commitment to this Clinic. It takes dedicated volunteers and medical professionals to assist our patients. Come join our team! For every dollar raised, free clinics provide $5.41 of medical care to patients.
